In recent weeks, we had the opportunity to deliver a new version of the teaching station for the Silesian University of Technology. The station is double-sided and is used to conduct laboratory exercises in both the field of hydraulics and pneumatics. The set of components allows for the creation of very diverse connection diagrams and laboratory topics. The hydraulic pump unit has been equipped with an inverter for proportional regulation of the rotational speed of the tandem of two hydraulic pumps, in which the flow is switched on by separate solenoid valves. The pneumatic set has been equipped with a compressor with a reduced noise level and, together with the hydraulic unit, has been built into a specially soundproofed housing, allowing for very comfortable work. In addition, we have equipped the station with an electronic measurement set of hydraulic parameters, containing an electronic turbine flow meter and a pressure and temperature transducer. The station is also equipped with an AIO computer with installed software for visualization of measurement values ​​and engineering software, allowing for the creation of diagrams and simulation of very advanced hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
